Trainees and apprentices

We recruit talented and motivated individuals for both our craft and graduate programmes, see below for more details and for the timing of our annual recruitment campaigns.

Craft apprenticeships

Delivered in partnership with a network of local colleges, we recruit apprentices in plumbing, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

These four-year programmes equip our apprentices with all the skills necessary for a career in our industry and combine studies with a wide site-based experience.

Opportunities for the 2011 craft apprenticeship intake have now closed, recruitment for next year’s intake will start in Spring 2012.

Student degree programme

Developed in 1993, this flagship programme is like no other in the industry.

Giving students the opportunity to specialise in either mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or quantity surveying, this challenging four-year degree programme – delivered in partnership with Liverpool Community College and Liverpool John Moores University – combines work-based experience with academic studies. At the end of this programme, our trainees are capable of delivering the most complex and technical projects to support the needs of our business and our customers.

Past graduates from this programme have progressed to senior management positions within our business, and for those who demonstrate the dedication and passion to deliver, this opportunity is not to be missed.

Opportunities for the 2011 student degree programme are now closed and will open again in Spring 2012.
