Hillington office has been awarded a contract to supply and install mechanical and electrical services for a Scottish Government building in Edinburgh.
This is the fifth project for ultimate client, the Scottish Government, comprising the supply and installation of electrical services for the new HV and LV electrical infrastructure which will also incorporate the M&E interior fit-out of the wing within the building which is housing the H.V equipment and the central core switch rooms which will be added to the contract as a variation.
The main LV panel is also being replaced during the project which requires detailed planning due to the critical nature of the building and needs to stay operational during this process. All of these works will be carried out during planned shut-downs after close liaison with the Scottish Government.
Work will start in December for client Dalkia Energy & Technical Services and is scheduled for completion in March 2010. Wallace Whittle is the consultant on this project and AMS is the project manager working on behalf of Dalkia.
