Arecleoch Wind Farm
Projects is delighted to announce the award of the electrical infrastructure works associated with Arecleoch Wind Farm for ScottishPower Renewables.
The £15m contract has been awarded via Farrans Construction who will act as principal contractor and main civil contractor for the works.
Arecleoch Wind Farm will comprise 60 no. wind turbines, generating a total output of approximately 120MW. An early enabling works package has now been replaced by the formal award of the full electrical infrastructure package.
Construction started in late 2008 and the project is expected to be completed by Easter 2011.
The project allows operations manager, Alan McCann and his renewables team to continue to develop our relationship with ScottishPower Renewables following the successful completion of Whitelee Wind Farm and provide us the opportunity to enhance our reputation further within the renewables market.
