Biodiversity Photography Competition Winners

Sheepish_full

To celebrate and raise awareness of World Environment Day, 5 June 2010, BBES launched a photography competition. The theme this year was ‘Biodiversity - Many Species, One Planet, One Future’. We are pleased to announce the winning entries.

First prize was awarded to Iain Holder, Modular Systems +, Barnstaple and a runner up prize awarded to Peter Jepson, Solihull.

Both our prize winners chose vouchers for photography stores to help them buy additional photography equipment. We look forward to seeing more pictures like these!

Winner - Iain Holder, Barnstaple
Sunrise over Yelland power station (disused), at the point where the rivers Taw and Torridge converge, with the Exmoor hills in the background. A UNESCO world heritage site, this photo was taken on way to work.
