The new three-storey building will be situated on Castlecroft Road in Bury just minutes from the existing Bury Police Station and forms part of the £20m development plans by Greater Manchester Police. The divisional HQ will have a crime scene examination area, custody suites, general office areas and car parking.
Scope of work comprises installation of all mechanical and electrical works incorporating and working closely to GMP’s “preferred installation methods, equipment and best practices”. Our scope includes VRV air conditioning, central gas fired boiler plant, lighting and small power installation, with CCTV, BEMS, fire and security all being fed to a remote centralised location. We also have responsibility for the fit out of the high specification custodial suites.
