This project involved six new schools including secondary and primary schools and a technical college. Five of the six were built within the grounds of existing schools.
Working across several schools concurrently allowed a substantial amount of offsite mechanical services manufacture to be introduced bringing quality, speed and safety benefits to the project.
Under-floor heating was provided aling with conventional mechanical and plumbing services. Electrical and data services provided include Cat 5E data cabling, intruder alarm, CCTV, fire alarm and access control systems. Energy efficient classroom lighting is controlled by a combination of daylight sensing photocells and PIR detectors.
