Balfour Beatty Engineering Services (BBES) has been appointed by Balfour Beatty Construction to design, supply and install mechanical and electrical services for the Hull National Academies Framework.
Working alongside Balfour Beatty Construction, BBES has secured the Hull National Academies Framework project which will see the team start £8.4m of services works for the new Sirius and Ganton Academy which includes a special educational needs (SEN) school.
Operations director Steve Milnes said: “We’ve had such great success so far on our other academy work, particularly in Sunderland where we handed over three schools to the customer ahead of programme, so we’re eager to perform as well on these latest contracts and use the lessons learned on earlier schemes to benefit all future projects. I am also pleased to see that the business continues to perform well in higher education and look forward to increasing work in this sector.”
