Power Systems has secured package 1B on the London Underground Metropolitan sub surface lines power upgrade project working direct for the Energy Contracts Management Team (ECMT) of London Underground Limited.
This is the largest single order received by the London Underground over the last 17 years in this market and represents a significant award to the business.
This is the first of five packages of work that are expected to be released throughout 2009 and will secure Power Systems future as an expert manufacturing contractor in this market sector. It also includes a design and build order for 11kV and 400v switchboards.
