All mechanical and public health services were provided to the malls, themed villages, and back of house areas at the Bluewater Retail and Leisure Complex.
The works to some 700 metres of malls comprised full air conditioning achieved by 27 self contained roof mounted air-handling plants together with ventilation to back of house areas, service yards, toilets and service tunnel.
A feature of the services was the prefabrication of the gas and water mains pipework. The prefabricated sections were installed onto the roof steelwork walkway prior to lifting into position. The project was completed in two years including fit-out.
